The impressive Jaguar F-Pace SVR has only been among us for two years, but will soon be subject to a facelift. What applies to the regular F-Pace also applies to the top sporting version.
The facelifted F-Pace already came across on this site, but we see the SVR for the first time today. We can be brief about both at this stage, because the news seems minimal with regard to external changes. In Switzerland we were recently able to walk around a (regular) facelift F-Pace ourselves, and there was not much new to be seen. Do not expect a facelift in the style of the F-Type, whereby the entire front will be redesigned. The baselines of the F-Pace are simply preserved, with the shape of the hood and headlights apparently not being affected.
We do, however, expect a different layout of the lamps, which of course are exclusively equipped with LED lighting. The front and rear bumpers are undoubtedly a bit tightened, although the four exhausts of the SVR remain in their familiar place. The “kiewen” in the flanks, a characteristic of the SVR version, also remain intact.
Although there are no major changes underway in terms of hardware, the top F-Pace will most likely get some more power. Where the SVR now “has to do” with 550 hp, the applied V8 in fresher brands now delivers 575 hp. Chances are that this is also on the horizon for Jaguar’s SUV.
