Also Skoda Kamiq cheaper

After the Scala, the Skoda Kamiq is also cheaper due to the return of an old well-known entry-level version. Just like the Scala, the compact crossover is now also available with a 95 hp 1.0 TSI in combination with the Active version.

In the middle of last year, the Skoda Kamiq lost the 95 hp 1.0 TSI, with the result that the compact crossover was only available with the 110 hp version of the same 1.0. Due to the disappearance of the 95 hp 1.0 TSI, the starting price of the Skoda Kamiq was €28,190, but Skoda is now bringing the entry-level version back to the Kamiq range.

The Skoda Kamiq with 95 hp 1.0 TSI costs €26,590 and is therefore €1,600 cheaper than the 110 hp version in Ambition trim. The more modestly motorized Kamiq is, as before, only available as a simpler Active. In addition, the Kamiq with 95 hp powerful 1.0 TSI always has a manual five-speed gearbox and therefore no six-speed gearbox or DSG automatic transmission like the 110 hp strong flavors. Like the Scala in Active trim, the Skoda Kamiq Active sits on 16-inch steel wheels with hubcaps. LED lighting all around is standard, the same goes for air conditioning, the Swing radio with 6.5-inch color screen and four speakers and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors are also part of the Active party. Cruise control passes the nose of the Kamiq Active, but you do get a speed limiter and Lane Assist.

Incidentally, the Skoda Kamiq is about to be subtly refreshed. You can read more about the renewed Skoda Kamiq here.
