Amazfit and world record marathon runner Kelvin Kiptum are entering into a collaboration. For example, Kelvin Kiptum uses the Amazfit Cheetah Pro and Amazfit Helio Ring for his training and competitions in the hunt for a new world record and Olympic gold.
Amazfit is a global smart wearables brand and has announced a partnership with men’s world marathon record holder Kelvin Kiptum. He is the only athlete to complete a marathon in less than two hours and one minute. As an ambassador for Amazfit, Kiptum will use the Amazfit Cheetah Pro to manage his training and competitions, and the Amazfit Helio Ring to optimize his recovery, ahead of the marathon races in Rotterdam and Paris.
Amazfit Cheetah Pro
To help him with his preparation, Kelvin will wear the Amazfit Cheetah Pro. This specialized running watch is equipped with the MaxTrack dual-band circularly polarized GPS antenna. It has been tested to achieve 99.5% of the accuracy of a professional GPS locator, together with the innovative Zepp Coach. This is an AI solution that generates tailor-made plans and guidance for athletes who want to prepare for marathons in optimal condition. This advanced technology will support Kelvin Kiptum in honing specific details of his training.
Amazfit Helio Ring
As this partnership continues off the course, Kiptum is also using the recently announced Amazfit Helio Ring to take control of his recovery. He thus obtains an in-depth analysis of his sleep quality, mental and physical preparedness and emotional state, made possible by the BioTracker and EDA sensors of the smart ring. Amazfit does not expect to have any problems like Apple is currently experiencing with its Watch in terms of patents, because they make everything in-house.
