Anker Solix offers various solutions for sustainable energy storage such as plug-and-play home batteries for solar energy and is part of Anker Innovations. After various portable solutions, it is now expanding its range with the anchor Solix Solarbank 2 AC and Solarbank 3 Pro: Plug-and-Play Home Batteries for solar energy. With these smart home batteries you can better tailor your energy consumption to your situation and easily save your solar energy for later use. With a view to the abolition of the netting scheme in 2027, these products offer a nice outcome.

Anker Solix Solarbank 2 AC Plug-in battery with 1,200 watts for efficient storage for solar energy
The Solarbank 2 AC is particularly suitable for people with solar panels (PV system) who want to store their generated solar energy sustainable and safely. The main system itself already has a storage capacity of 1.6 kWh. It is equipped with efficient and safe LFP batteries with at least 6,000 loading cycles, which have a minimum lifespan of fifteen years. Thanks to the AC coupling, to which the system owes its name, and 1,200 Watt bidirectional loading and discharging (800 Watt output and 1,200 Watt input), it can be combined with existing photovoltaic systems. As a result, people simply add storage systems afterwards. Thanks to Plug-and-Play, the installation is done in this way and due to the IP65 certification, use is possible all year round.

Expandable and smart to control
Users who want to store more energy can add up to five extra batteries to the Solarbank 2 AC, with two batteries with a capacity of 2.688 kilowatt hours up to 1.6 kilowatt hours. This means that a total of a maximum of 15 kilowatt hours is available. The Solarbank works together with the Anker Solix smart meter. This measures the power consumption in the house and automatically switches on the Solar Bank for discharge in peaks. This increases self-consumption, prevents zero or negative return fees and results in extra savings.
The Solarbank offers two MPPT channels and can connect two extra solar panels.
1. For new users of solar energy, a complete system (solar panels + storage) and DIY solution (do it yourself or do it yourself) can be installed, with a maximum annual use of green electricity of 1,128 kWh and a saving up to € 451.
2. For users with an existing PV system, the SolarBank offers expansion options up to 1,128 kWh extra annual yield.
The Anker Solix Solarbank 2 AC is now available via the website of Anker Solix and Solar Power Supply, Offgrid, Thuisbatterijnederland and Mediamarkt for a suggested retail price of € 1,099.

Anker Solix Solarbank 3 Pro Plug-in battery with 3,600 Watt AC coupling
Anker Solix also introduces the Solarbank 3 Pro, the newest generation of solar energy storage. Users can expand cost -effectively to three units, with a 3600 Watt AC input, without purchasing a completely new and expensive system. In addition, the model can be constructed as a parallel system with two Solarbank 3 Pros for the ultimate storage capacity for existing solar energy on the roof.
This makes the Solarbank 3 Pro not only economically and ecologically sustainable, but also future -proof. With full use, with the full bidirectional inverter of 1,200 watts connected to the Anker Solix smart meter and with multiple expansion batteries for a larger capacity, additional annual savings of up to around € 827 are possible.
Just like the Solarbank 2 AC, this model supports dynamic energy rates and Power on Demand functionality.

Reliable and modular design
The Solarbank 3 Pro supports 1,200W bidirectional loading and discharging. Thanks to the modular design with patented plug-inpower technology, the battery can easily be expanded via a DIY installation. There are two options for battery extension: 2,688 kilowatt hours or 1.6 kilowatt hours per module, where up to five extra modules can be added-good for a maximum capacity of 16 kilowatt hours. Each battery module offers a basic storage of 2.7 kWh. The system supports up to 6,000 loading cycles, where more than 80% of the maximum capacity is retained. The IP65 certification guarantees protection against rain and dust, which ensures a safe installation outdoors.

Smart energy management with anchor intelligence
An important innovation is anchor intelligence [1]with which Anker Solix takes smart energy management to a higher level. This AI-controlled system predicts the power consumption and the expected energy surplus for the following day based on use patterns. It also integrates data such as weather forecasts.
Under dynamic electricity prices, the system combines predictions of tariff fluctuations with surpluses, and automatically chooses the most favorable moment to charge or discharge.

(NB: Dynamic rate Compatibility is already available for SolarBank 3 Pro and is coming for Solarbank 2 AC in Q4 2025)

Flexible for every type of user
The Solarbank offers 4 MPPT channels and can connect up to 8 solar panels. For new users, a complete solar energy + storage package such as DIY solution can be installed in one go. This provides a maximum annual use of 3,511 kilowatt hours of green electricity, with a potential extra saving up to € 1,404. For existing PV systems, the SolarBank 3 Pro offers the possibility to expand the system itself by installing another Solarbank 3 Pro. The extra yield can amount to 3,833 kilowatt hours per year, depending on the use and the number of connected panels.
For both the Solarbank 2 AC and the Solarbank 3 Pro, users need the Anker Solix smart meter to collect real -time data on energy consumption. Based on this, the Anker app offers recommendations about when energy can best be stored or used, depending on the rate and the available solar energy.
The Anker Solix SolarBank 3 Pro is now available via the website of Anker Solix, Solar Power Supply, Offgrid and Thuisbatterijnederland for a suggested retail price of € 1,799.
Anker Solix will soon also launch its own anchor Solix P1 meters that will be available from mid -August. You can also use the Solarbanks without the P1 meter by manually adjusting in the anchor app at Custom Mode (adapted mode) when and how much you want to deliver to the home circuit.

[1] Note Anker Intelligence: This function only applies if use is made of solar panels with a plug connected directly to the Solar Bank. If users use the Solarbank in combination with an existing photovoltaic system, this function does not apply. In that case one can only use the intelligent charging and discharge function.
