Do you make a lot of phone calls in the car? Then of course you do that hands-free. In this tip, we’ll show you how to automatically answer phone calls via your iPhone speaker, so that you keep your hands on the wheel.
Record iPhone phone calls through speaker
It is an option that not everyone is waiting for, but a solution for others. It is possible to automatically record phone calls with your iPhone speaker. The sound is played through the bottom speaker, instead of having to bring the iPhone to your ear to understand the other.
This is useful, for example, if you make a lot of hands-free calls in the car, but you don’t have a Bluetooth car radio that plays the sound through the speakers. This way, you don’t have to manually switch the phone to loudspeaker. This not only saves a lot of time, but is also a lot safer while driving.
This is how you automatically call with your iPhone speaker:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone;
- Go to ‘General’ and choose ‘Accessibility’;
- Select ‘Audio path calls’ and choose the ‘Loudspeaker’ option.
If you now make or receive calls yourself, you do this automatically via speaker. This also applies to FaceTime audio calls. In the same menu you can also choose to automatically record via a headset. Of course you can turn off the option by tapping the speaker button in the call window itself.
