The ANWB wants employers to focus on homework policy after the corona crisis. According to the union, the majority of the Dutch want to work from home partly after the pandemic, the interest group argues on the basis of a survey.
60 percent of respondents say they want to work from home two or more days a week after the corona crisis. A fifth of the Dutch would like to come back to the office five days a week. The ANWB commissioned a representative survey of approximately two thousand Dutch people.
The union also notes that the large amount of home workers means fewer traffic jams during rush hour. However, the traffic intensity on the roads is again at the same level as before the corona crisis.
According to ANWB, an incentive to work from home is a good way to limit traffic jams. Previous surveys also showed that working from home had gained popularity.
