App Store Pearls: TickTick helps you organize your day

Every day we do a tour of the internet for you to find the best apps in the App Store for your iPhone, iPad or Apple TV. OMT editor Dunke van Boekel has TickTick on offer today. The app that will help you structure your day.

Planning remains difficult for many people. After you’re done with homework for school, or you’re done with work, life still has plenty in store to keep you busy, and that can get cluttered. Fortunately, there is the App Store Pearl TickTick, which assists you with a large number of features.

TickTick packed with features

The number of features in this App Store Pearl is large. TickTick is an organizational app that divides your day into tasks on a to-do list. In addition, it is very simple to use. You open the app and can immediately start adding tasks after logging in. You enter the title, after which you also set a description, time of the deadline, reminder and recurrence. This is how you set daily or other regular reminders.

You can then also add all these tasks to lists. This way, the App Store Pearl keeps your activities organized, instead of throwing them all together. The reminders also work on location via telephone. So, for example, if you set a reminder for every time you walk near the supermarket, you might not forget that there are groceries to be done.

You can also set so-called sub-tasks on TickTick, or set a task to high (or late) priority. Or how about adding tags to your to-dos? That way you make the search function of the app even more convenient. And TickTick has a built-in Pomo Timer so you can get started consistently.

But how much does the (App Store) Pearl cost?

Of course, a premium subscription is also available for this app, although you get some pretty cool extras with TickTick. For example, you play certain background sounds when the Pomo Timer is on, but the calendar can also focus on your day or week, instead of the entire month.

You also look at the activities that happened around a task. Think about when you add certain details or when you close the task. In addition, you get access to more widgets that make it easier to plan your day from your home screen. Another tip, use the app together with a note program like Obsidian if you often write things down. This way you keep that overview everywhere.

A subscription to TickTick Premium will cost you 30 euros annually, or 3 euros per month, if you opt for monthly payments.
