That still takes a long time, but the device is getting more concrete. Multiple sources agree that the first foldable iPhone from Apple develops a 7.8-inch display on the inside and a 5.5-inch display on the outside.

According to a new rumor, however, Apple also comes with an iPad Fold in 2026. This rumor comes from analyst Jeff Pu. PU does not mention one, but two foldable Apple devices that will be on the market next year. Firstly, according to him, Apple indeed comes with the 7.8-inch iPhone Fold that we were already talking about and secondly with an 18.8-inch iPad Fold.

2026 or 2028?

PU indicates that he thinks that both devices will be taken in mass production in the fourth quarter of 2026. He already said that last August. But Mark Gurman van Bloomberg said in December that Apple will only come up with an iPad Fold much later. He then said the following:
