Are you regularly called and are you now ready for a new ringtone? Then you don’t have to wait long, because Apple will soon bring no fewer than seven new ringtones to your iPhone!
New ringtones
Good news if you are called regularly, because your iPhone will soon get a lot more ringtones. In the latest test version of iOS 26, Apple not only adds new functions, but the company also introduces more ringtones for the iPhone. It was already clear that Apple was working on more ringtones. In the first test versions of iOS 26, a new ringtone appeared under the name ‘Alt 1’, but six have now been added.
In iOS 26, the standard belt remains available, which sounds the same as in iOS 26. The Ringtones small bird, dreamer, structure, pond, pop, floating and reflection will soon be added. The latter already appeared in the earlier test versions of iOS 26 as ‘Alt 1’, but has been given a new name in iOS 26 Bèta 6. Are you curious how the new ringtones sound on your iPhone? Reflection gets several variants
Does your iPhone rarely stop? Then you get many more options with iOS 26. Reflection is already the standard ringtone on your iPhone, but gets many more variants in iOS 26. Almost all new ringtones are an adapted performance of reflection. In addition, the iPhone gets another new ringtone, under the name ‘Kleine Vogel’. In total, at least seven new ringtones come to your iPhone with iOS 26.
Apple is still developing iOS 26. There is a chance that even more ringtones will be added in later test versions. You can find the ringtones on your iPhone under ‘Settings> Hearing and Feeling> Beltoon> reflection’. With iOS 18 you have the choice of one ringtone, from iOS 26 there are seven. The Ringtone Kleine Vogel has been added separately to the list, because this is not a variation on reflection.
Release of iOS 26
The new ringtones are not the only changes for the telephone app in iOS 26. Apple adjusts the design of the application, because Liquid Glass is also coming to the telephone app. In addition, a number of useful functions are added. This makes it possible to set memories for missed telephone calls and you can first have incoming calls of unknown numbers screened.
