Apple recently launched a new product, but the chance that not everyone will be happy with it is very high.
Apple launches new product (but not for everyone)
There are a number of Apple products that we actually expected to see in the month of November. There would be a new Apple TV 4K, but also a new HomePod mini and new AirTags. So far we haven’t seen any of these products. But Apple has launched another product, but not everyone will be enthusiastic about it.
Apple has entered into a partnership with the Japanese fashion house ISSEY MIYAKE. Together they now have the iPhone Pocket launched. This is a limited edition 3D knitted accessory designed to carry an iPhone, AirPods and other everyday items.
It is a kind of stretchy pouch (similar to iPod Socks) but elongated and in eight striking colors. It looks like a band of ribbed, elastic textile that completely encloses your iPhone. However, due to the open structure, a glimpse of the screen can still be seen. The founder of ISSEY MIYAKE also designed Steve Jobs’ iconic black turtleneck sweater.
iPhone Pocket: Not cheap
iPhone Pocket is available in two versions. There is a short model available in eight colors and a long model in three colors. The short is available in Lemon, Mandarin, Purple, Pink, Peacock, Sapphire, Cinnamon and Black. The long one is available in Sapphire, Cinnamon and Black. Both lengths fit every iPhone model, but as mentioned, it is certainly not a product that everyone will be happy with.
Apple says the color palette is designed to work across all iPhone models. Moreover, you can carry the iPhone Pocket in different ways: in the hand, attached to a bag or directly on the body. However, the iPhone Pocket is not cheap: you have to go for the short model €159.95 count down. For the long model no less €249.95. And then you have to make an extra effort, because the bag will not be available in the Netherlands and Belgium.
The limited edition will be available from November 14, but only in the online Apple stores of France, China, Italy, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, the United Kingdom and the United States. In addition, the iPhone Pocket will be available for sale in ten Apple Stores worldwide, including Apple Regent Street in London, Apple SoHo in New York and Apple Ginza in Tokyo.
