The package includes Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Motion, Compressor and MainStage, plus new AI features and premium content for Keynote, Pages, Numbers and later Freeform.
With this subscription, Apple wants to give creative users easier access to the most powerful tools for video editing, music production, image editing and visual productivity. New subscribers will receive a one-month free trial, and when purchasing a new Mac or eligible iPad, customers may be able to get three months of free subscription. A special education discount is available for students and teachers.
Final Cut Pro gets smart AI features
Final Cut Pro for Mac and iPad is enhanced with powerful new features that dramatically speed up video editing. Transcript Search lets you quickly find the perfect sound bite from hours of video footage by simply typing search terms. Visual Search makes it possible to locate specific objects or actions in your video material and add them to your timeline in seconds.

The new Rhythm Detection feature uses an AI model from Logic Pro to instantly analyze any song and display the rhythm grid, making it easy to connect videos to the music with quick cuts. On iPad, Apple introduces the Montage Maker, which uses AI to automatically analyze and edit a dynamic video based on the best moments in your video material. The subscription also includes full access to Motion and Compressor for creating cinematic effects and specifying output settings.
Logic Pro expands with Synth Player and Chord ID
Logic Pro for Mac and iPad gets new AI session musicians, including Synth Player for realistic performances of chords and electronic bass parts. This virtuoso keyboard player is powered by Logic Pro’s extensive collection of software synthesizers and samplers and can even use third-party Audio Units plug-ins.

Chord ID uses AI to analyze complex harmonic material from virtually any recording to automatically create a track of chords. The new sounds library includes Apple-designed packs with hundreds of royalty-free loops, samples and drum sounds. Logic Pro for iPad now also supports Quick Swipe Comping and Music Understanding features, which let you search for specific loops in natural language.
Pixelmator Pro comes to iPad
Pixelmator Pro, the award-winning image editing tool acquired by Apple, is available for the first time on iPad with a completely redesigned workspace with touch support and full support for Apple Pencil. The iPad version offers all the powerful editing tools of the Mac version, including features like Super Resolution for smart photo upscaling, Deband for removing compression artifacts, and Auto Crop for automatic composition suggestions.

Intuitive touch controls make it easy to create desktop-class designs on iPad, wherever you are. For Apple Creator Studio subscribers, Pixelmator Pro includes a new distortion tool that lets you rotate and distort layers, plus a collection of product mock-ups.
Premium content for Keynote, Pages and Numbers
Apple Creator Studio provides access to new smart features and premium content in Keynote, Pages and Numbers. Content Hub is a new space with curated, highest-quality photos, graphics and illustrations, and subscribers get access to new premium templates and themes.

In addition to Image Playground, you can use advanced image composition tools to create high-quality images from text, or transform existing images with generative models from OpenAI. Keynote gets beta features that let you create a first concept for a presentation based on a short text, and in Numbers subscribers can generate formulas with Magic Fill based on pattern recognition.
Apple Intelligence required
Some new AI features in Apple Creator Studio use Apple Intelligence and only work on compatible devices. For iPhone you need at least an iPhone 15 Pro or newer, while for iPad you need a model with M1 chip or newer (or an iPad mini with A17 Pro chip). All models with M1 chip or newer are suitable for Mac.
