Apple has announced a new service! The company has introduced AppleCare One. AppleCare Plus has been available for years and can be closed for almost any Apple product. With AppleCare your device is insured against any damage or theft. Do you have a problem with the software or hardware of your iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV or other device? Then with AppleCare you can go to Apple employees for repairs.
These employees offer expert and technical support to restore your Apple device. For that you have to close AppleCare Plus for each device. In the Netherlands that has to be done separately for each device, so you have to buy AppleCare for your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac, AirPods, Apple TV and HomePod again and again. That will no longer be necessary, because Apple has introduced AppleCare One.
Advantages
With AppleCare One you take out a subscription for all your Apple devices in one go. It is then no longer necessary to purchase AppleCare separately for your iPhone, iPad and all other devices. Instead, add all devices to one subscription. That has several advantages, so you can add devices much longer after purchasing to AppleCare. Where that is normally possible to sixty days after purchase, it is at AppleCare One for up to four years after purchase.
The new subscription is available in the United States for $ 19.99 per month. For that price you can add three Apple devices to the bundle, which is much cheaper than closing three separate subscriptions. Do you want to add a device? Then you pay $ 5.99 per device every month. It does not matter which device is involved, the prices at AppleCare One are the same everywhere.
Not yet in the Netherlands and Belgium
With AppleCare One, all your Apple devices are protected against damage and theft in one go. You can submit up to three claims for damage or theft annually for the iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. AppleCare is especially useful if, for example, the screen of your iPhone has broken or the battery is due for replacement. With AppleCare you are insured for this, so you pay much less for the repair. Has your device been stolen or lost? Then with AppleCare you pay a one -off 129 euros for a new device.
AppleCare has several advantages, which come to three or more devices with AppleCare One at the same time. The new service is currently only available in the United States. It is expected that the bundle will come to more countries later, including the Netherlands and Belgium.
