This week, Apple launched a web version of Podcasts. Using this web app, you can play Apple podcasts and expand your library with new productions. This makes Apple Podcasts available on Android and Windows devices for the first time.
Official apps are available on almost all Apple devices such as iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch. Even Apple TV and Apple Vision Pro have a Podcasts app. Android and Windows do not have them, but they can now use the web version.

Do you like listening to podcasts via Apple’s platform? Then since this week you can also listen to them via the web version from any browser. Not only on your Apple devices, but also on an Android device or Windows computer.
- Open podcasts.apple.com in a browser
- Log in with your Apple Account
- Play a desired episode
You can use the web version simply, just like you use the regular Podcasts app for Apple products. This means that you can search for new productions, expand your library with new shows, mark episodes as listened, etc.
This web version is not special if you have the app for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV or Apple Watch. But users without these devices will be happy with this web app.
