Aprilia Tuareg 660 pre-booking starts November 3

Aprilia Tuareg 660 pre-booking starts November 3

There is still not much more than the brief information that was announced at the beginning of August, but at Aprilia they trust that the name Tuareg alone will be enough to convince enthusiasts.

The Tuareg 660 is the third model that Aprilia is launching from the 660 platform, which has already made a pretty good impression with the RS 660 and Tuono 660, but with a chassis specially designed for off-road use. What is quite remarkable somewhere, try again with good decency to go off-road somewhere without running the risk of being thrown on the receipt.

According to Aprilia, the Tuareg 660 is designed for the toughest off-road situations as well as to be manageable and comfortable on long rides, aiming to be the best synthesis between the single-cylinder enduros and the medium adventure bikes.

Technical details are still lacking, but Aprilia speaks of an original, light and powerful design (187 kg for a power of 80 HP), the result of a conceptually very modern and completely new project. According to Aprilia, the Tuareg 660 is distinguished by its ergonomics that have been specially designed for off-road use, with a wide and high handlebar, a very slim waist and extremely long suspension travel.

The equipment includes Full LED lighting with DRLs along the perimeter and 5″ TFT color display. The package of electronic control systems APRC with multimapping Ride-by-Wire is standard and includes traction control, cruise control, electronic engine braking and multiple driving modes. Aprilia also has four adjustable driving modes designed to maximize the driving experience and make life on board easier.

The Tuareg 660 is available in Acid Gold and Martian Red for a suggested retail price of €13,799. For the more imaginative Indaco Tagel graphics with € 14,499 are tapped. Available for pre-order from Wednesday 3 November on the special website tuareg660.aprilia.com. Available for viewing at dealers in December.
