The overview of all WhatsApp conversations is quickly filled with dozens of chats. Is it too much for you? Then start with a clean slate. You don’t have to delete all conversations; you can also archive them. This can be done one by one, but also all at once. The conversations do not disappear from the telephone, but are in a separate overview: the archive.
Archive chats in one go on iPhone
Archive all WhatsApp conversations at once like this:
- Open WhatsApp.
- Tap on Institutions.
- Tap on chats.
- Choose the option Archive all chats > Archive all.
The WhatsApp conversations are archived. Tap the tab chats, drag the screen down and tap Archived chats to see the overview.
Archive chats in one go on Android device
Archive all WhatsApp conversations at once like this:
- Open WhatsApp.
- Tap the three dots icon at the top right.
- Tap on Institutions.
- Tap on chats.
- Choose the option Chat history.
- Select Archive all chats > OK.
The WhatsApp conversations are archived. Tap the tab chats > Archived chats to see the overview.
