As a self-employed person, how can I best lease a car?

As a self-employed person I would like to lease, because I don’t want to invest a lot of money in a new car. But I think it’s a shame that I’m tied to a contract for so long and that it is not cheap. Do you have a tip for me?

‘Leasing is quite attractive and offers various advantages. You pay a fixed amount per month and all financial and contractual hassle is taken over by the lease company. You pay for that. But because of the experience of a lease company and the volume with which lease companies manage cars, they can work very attractively and are sometimes even cheaper than arranging it yourself.

If you want more flexibility, you can opt for a short lease construction. With short lease you are talking about a new lease car with a contract of 2 months to 2 years that you can cancel monthly. You then pay a little more, but you get flexibility in return.

If the cost aspect is very important to you, you can opt for an occasion lease. You then take over a current lease contract, whereby you serve out the remaining period of the lease contract. You then drive a used lease car for a lower monthly lease price, which sometimes also gives you an additional benefit. This can be, for example, a used electric lease car that still has 4% addition or a plug-in hybrid model with 15% addition. Choose the option that suits your situation ‘.
