Rapid SUV
The new Formula 1 season is about to start, but not before Aston Martin presents a new Medical Car. It is again the DBX, but now the strongest version.
For the third year in a row, Aston Martin is allowed to supply official staff cars to Formula 1 in addition to Mercedes-AMG. The Safety Car with which the British brand will enter this year is of course the Vantage F1 Edition again, but the Medical Car is different than before. Okay, it’s a DBX again, only this time it’s the strongest version.
Aston Martin has dressed up the mighty DBX 707 as a Medical Car. It is, however, considerably stronger than the DBX that was previously used. As the name implies, the 4.0 biturbo V8 (which comes from Mercedes-AMG) in this DBX delivers 707 hp. Good for a sprint from 0 to 100 km / h that takes only 3.3 seconds. In an SUV… This weekend we will see this DBX behind the field at the start of the Bahrain GP. Let’s hope it won’t be needed after that.
