ASUS ZenFone 8 Series Android 12

If we look at the previous weeks and months, you can’t ignore the fact that Samsung can be crowned the update king with its Android 12 updates. The update was ready for the S21 series in November and updates for its top devices from 2020 and 2019 followed last month.

Although we also see Android 12 appearing at other smartphone manufacturers. ASUS stated that the stable update would come to ZenFone 8 and ZenFone 8 Flip in December and now it has really started rolling out. This is evident from a message on the ZenTalk Forum.

With Android 12, users can get started with privacy features such as the new Privacy Dashboard. You get to see when apps are using your phone’s camera and microphone, and can immediately deny them access. Android 12 also comes with new widgets, performance improvements, a new set of effects and animations, and the Material You theme. We are used to ASUS that its software shell also leans towards a bare Android experience.

The update will take about 3 GB on the ZenFone 8. The flagship is known as a small phone that has a lot to offer. You can read our extensive review of the ZenFone 8 here.
