Badland is one of the most beautiful and coolest iOS games and developer Frogmind has now surprisingly released a sequel in the App Store.

Badland 2
The original Badland dates back to 2013. Then it won an award for best iPad game of the year. Earlier this year it came out for game consoles such as the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One and now there is Badland 2 out of nowhere.
And like any good sequel, Badland 2 continues with the basics of the first part. That means that the beautiful environments are back and that you yourself move through the shadows in the foreground. The dark atmosphere that partly made the original so good is again in the sequel.
Fly past obstacles
It also plays about the same. For those who have never played part 1, you control a woolly creature that flies through an environment in 2D. Along the way you will meet other critters that you have to take me to the end. You try to save as many as possible, but that is quite difficult because you will encounter various obstacles along the way. By tapping you stay in the air and you control the figure.
In this part, however, you are no longer limited to flying in only one direction. You can move from left to right, which is especially useful when moving vertically through a level while dodging things. These are not only rotating saws, but also flames and water. Along the way you collect power-ups that make you grow bigger or shrink so that you can continue.

Badland 2 is a good sequel all in all and fans of the first part will be happy with the sequel. But there is also plenty to do for newcomers. The developer has already promised that more content will be available, which can be downloaded for free in the future. The game itself costs 4.99 euros once.
