It is possible to add a so-called photo filter while taking a photo. But an image can also be edited afterwards by adding a special appearance. Handy when the filter used is not beautiful. This can easily be done in the Photos app on the iPhone or iPad. This contains several standard filters.

How to place a filter over a photo:
- Open the Photos app.
- Tap the photo you want to edit.
- Tap on Change.
- Tap the icon with three overlapping circles.
- A row of photo filters appears. Tap one of the boxes to place the filter over the photo, for example Mono.
- When you are satisfied, tap Ready. Don’t want to make the edit? Then tap cancel > Delete changes.
The edited photo can be found in the Photos app.
