According to the German Automobilwoche, among others, non-Chinese exhibitors are not allowed to ship cargo to China. The Beijing Auto Show, which took place for the first time in 1990, has become a car show with international relevance. The show, which takes place every other year, was in 2018 the stage on which Mercedes-Maybach presented the Ultimate Luxury SUV Concept. Maserati intends to present a hybrid version of the Ghibli in Beijing this year.
Last week it was announced that the organization of the Geneva Motor Show is taking precautions regarding the corona virus. Earlier, the Mobile World Congress, a telecom fair that was to open its doors on February 24 in Barcelona, ​​Spain, was canceled.
