Bentley is upgrading the Flying Spur’s equipment. The top limousine now comes standard with technical ingenuity that was previously optional. For those who suffer from choice stress, there is bad news, because Bentley also comes with more personalization options for the Flying Spur.
The Flying Spur has been around for a while now. Mid-2019 Bentley presented the limo and at the beginning of 2020 the first customers could receive their car. Initially, the Flying Spur was only available with W12, later the well-known 4.0 V8 was added to the delivery range.
Despite the starting price of more than two tons in euros for a Flying Spur, some things that are commonplace in the middle class today were not yet standard available. The City Specification package, which includes things like road sign recognition, Pedestrian Warning, a foot-opening trunk, welcome lighting, auto-dimming mirrors and an air ionizer, was optional. That will change for model year 2022, because then that package will become part of the standard equipment of the Flying Spur. Previously, this equipment package cost € 4,060 excluding VAT. Bentley Netherlands also informs Techzle that the prices of the model year update for the Flying Spur are not yet known.
Bentley Flying Spur
With all possible combinations for the interior and exterior, Bentley is not exactly a brand that meets people with choice stress. That is not exactly getting better now, because the Flying Spur gets an extra paint color in the color palette: Cambrian Gray. This addition brings the total number of colors in the standard paint palette to 63 pieces. In addition, Liquid Amber, Dark Burr Walnut and Tamo Ash veneers are now available with an open-pore finish. Just stand on it.
