Meet Bermat, a young Italian company eager to get a slice of the supercar pie. The company presents its first car in the form of this Bermat GT.
Bermat is a company that was founded in 2015 and that, among others, JAS Motorsport, which is active in racing and rallying, has joined as a partner. The Bermat presents us with the first digital drawings of the GT, a supercar drawn by an Italian design studio whose design is inspired by classic racers from the 1960s.
The Bermat GT will first come in a track-specific variant called GT Pista, followed by a street version. All flavors are built around a carbon fiber monocoque. Basically, the GTs have two turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engines under the hood, machines that deliver 325 to 405 hp and up to 700 Nm of torque depending on homologation. Bermat has already indicated that it will in any case also offer the street versions with electric motors in the long term.
The first copies should be delivered sometime next year. Bermat does not yet provide indication prices.
