Apple devices are everywhere, but Apple has now said how many there are. That’s how many iPhones, Macs and more are active worldwide right now!
Bizarre: so many Apple devices are actively used worldwide
Apple has reached yet another milestone. There are now more than 2.5 billion active Apple devices worldwide. Here you should think of iPhones, Macs, iPads, Apple Watches and everything that goes with them. So these are Apple products that are really used and not sitting in a drawer gathering dust.

What makes this extra striking is that Apple has been growing steadily for years. Around this time last year, the company was talking about 2.35 billion active Apple devices. The year before that it was still 2.2 billion.
This means that approximately 150 million devices have now been added two years in a row. That’s actually quite absurd when you consider how saturated the smartphone and laptop market feels. Tim Cook even called iPhone demand ‘staggering’ (ridiculously high) during a quarterly review.

We have to admit that Apple is playing it smart. Because once you have an iPhone, switching to AirPods, an Apple Watch or a Mac suddenly becomes very tempting. This is because everything works together so seamlessly.
Many more new Apple devices on the way
Of course, Apple is not sitting still. And there are many more new Apple devices on the way this year. Apple recently released the AirTag 2, but of course it doesn’t stop there.
It seems that Apple wants to release more new products in early 2026 than in previous years. These include a new MacBook Pro (with M5 Pro and M5 Max), a new regular iPad and the iPhone 17e.
