Black Roadster Livery for 2025 Diavel V4

Ducati has provided the Diavel V4 with a new “Black Roadster Livery” for model year 2025. The matte black graphics, a combination of Racing Yellow and titanium, must have made the Muscle Roadster from Borgo Panigale even more distinctive.

Black Roadster Livery for 2025 Diavel V4

Since its launch in 2011, the Diavel has been the odd one out. Strange because of the Power Cruisers concept, or Muscle Cruiser, not what you want to call it. But also strange because of the development of sales. Instead of the usual sawtooth profile, where sales peak at launch and each update afterward, then tumble, sales of the Diavel just kept growing.

The Diavel V-twin was part of the range for twelve years, only to be replaced last year by the Diavel V4, powered by the V4 Granturimo engine block that had been introduced a few years earlier in the Multistrada V4 and, according to the Italians, from the MotoGP is derived.

In just two years of existence, the Diavel V4 has won several awards: the Good Design Award, awarded by the “Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design”, the special mention in the Excellent Product Design category at the German Design Awards 2024, and finally the Diavel V4 was voted ‘Best of the best’ in the prestigious Red Dot Award 2024.

The idea behind the Diavel? We quote Ducati: “Inspired by muscle cars, the Diavel V4 reinterprets the image of an athlete ready to take the starting blocks, with masses concentrated at the front and an agile, sleek rear. The signature light clusters front, rear and indicators , of course full LED, also contribute to the unmistakable appearance of the Diavel V4. The rear light cluster in particular consists of a matrix of point-shaped LEDs at the bottom of the tail installed: a unique, unprecedented and spectacular solution that makes the motorcycle immediately recognizable.”

For model year 2025, Ducati has now given the Diavel V4 a new coat of paint. The new graphics, created by the Centro Stile Ducati, are, according to the Italians, based on colors related to the history of the manufacturer from Borgo Panigale and the Diavel. The racing-inspired Racing Yellow, on the tank and in the stripes on the tail and side panels, highlights a color scheme with black and titanium tones, creating a livery that puts the Diavel V4 even more center stage. The new saddle cover completes an uncompromising design and gives the Diavel even more character.

The new Diavel V4 in the Black Roadster Livery will be available at official Ducati dealers from March 2025. Price in the Netherlands is €33,390, with our southern neighbors ‘only’ €28,890 has to be paid. But yes, they still have a hefty registration tax.
