Block annoying people on Facebook so they can’t contact you.
Control who can see your profile
Is someone annoying on Facebook? You can block him or her. The person can then no longer view your profile, add you as a friend and start a conversation. By the way, people are not notified of the blocking, so you can block someone without publicizing it.
Block someone on Facebook through pa
- Open facebook.
- Click the down arrow at the top right
. - click on Institutions.
- Click on the left To block.
- Next to ‘Block users’, click Type a name.
- Type the name or email address of the person you want to block.
- click on To block.
- A list of names appears. Click next to the person in question To block.
- click on [Voornaam] to block.
The person is blocked. If you want to undo this, click under ‘Block users’ on Unblock > Confirm.
Block someone from the Facebook app
- Tap the app facebook.
- Tap the button with the three dashes.
- Scroll down and tap Settings and privacy.
- Tap on Institutions.
- Under ‘Privacy’, tap Blocked.
- Tap on Add to blocked list.
- Enter the name or email address of the person you want to block at the top.
- Suggestions appear as you type. Next to the person’s name, tap To block > To block > OK.
The person is blocked. Tap on Cancel or click the left arrow to see who you’ve blocked. To unblock someone, tap Unblock > Unblock.
