190 hp diesel version becomes more accessible
BMW 1 Series
BMW starts in the spring with the delivery of the 120d without xDrive. By only driving the front wheels, the brand makes the 190 hp diesel version cheaper.
BMW is expanding the range of the 1 Series with a new version of the 120d, with only front-wheel drive. The brand delivered the 190 hp diesel engine, the most powerful you can get in the 1 Series, so far exclusively as xDrive, with four-wheel drive.
The engine that is in the 120d is 2.0 liters of diesel with TwinPower turbo technology. Because the front-wheel drive version has a little less grip than the xDrive version, the standard sprint takes a fraction longer in theory: 7.3 seconds instead of 7.0. CO2 emissions and consumption are lower, at best at 4.3 l / 100 (1 at 23.2) and 112 g / km. The diesel engine meets the strict Euro 6d standard.
Due to the lower CO2 emissions, the CO2-dependent BPM tax is also lower. It is not yet known how much cheaper the 120d will become, BMW will only announce the prices later.
