BMW 2 Series Active Tourer: these are the prices

The brand proves that BMW sets its own course more than just in terms of design. While one car manufacturer after another is turning its back on the segment of the traditional MPV, BMW is coolly introducing a brand new 2-series Active Tourer. That model has a starting price of €41,558.

For that €41,588 you get the BMW 2-series Active Tourer as 218i, a version with a 136 hp and 230 Nm strong 1.5 three-cylinder petrol engine under the hood. If 136 hp is not enough, you can also order his spacious BMW as a 220i. The 220i has a 156 hp and 240 Nm strong variant of the 1.5 three-cylinder under the hood, which has an extra 19 hp thanks to a mild hybrid system. BMW asks at least €42,419 for the 2-series as 220i. The most powerful petrol version is the 223i, the variant with a basic 204 hp and 320 nm strong 2.0 four-cylinder. The 2-series Active Tourer 223i also benefits from an additional 19 hp thanks to a mild-hybrid system.

BMW 2 Series

Diesels are also possible, because BMW is already bringing the 2-series Active Tourer as 218d to our country. The 218d is a 159 hp and 360 Nm strong 2.0 four-cylinder diesel, a machine that has to do without mild-hybrid technology. BMW is asking €46,343 for the 2-series Active Tourer as 218d. Each engine version has a seven-speed automatic transmission, a manual gearbox is not an option.

Plug-in hybrid

In the summer of next year, BMW will bring not one, but two plug-in hybrid powertrains to the 2-series Active Tourer. It concerns the 225th xDrive and the 230th xDrive. The first has a system power of 245 hp, the second of no less than 326 hp. Both versions have a 14.9 kWh battery pack that should enable a range of about 80 kilometers.
