BMW’s iX will receive an extra powerful sports version of which an extensive photo series briefly roamed around on BMW’s media site before the official unveiling of the model. Meet the BMW iX M60.

At the end of 2020, BMW pulled the curtain on the BMW iX, a fully electric SUV that has basically been developed as such and therefore no versions with combustion engines will appear. The not exactly conventionally lined iX is already available as a 326 hp xDrive40 and as a 523 hp xDrive50. The two must recognize their superiority in a real M Performance version: this iX M60.

We do not have definitive specifications yet, but BMW already released the first information about the iX M60 in the middle of this year. This way you get at least 600 hp in the four-wheel drive M60. BMW’s M department has undoubtedly taken care of things such as the steering, chassis and braking of the iX for the M Performance version. In addition, count on the presence of the largest battery pack that BMW supplies in the iX, the 105 kWh large copy of the xDrive50.

The iX M60 in these photos looks hardly different from the iX xDrive40 and xDrive50 with the optional Sports package. The bumpers all around match in any case. We expect to be able to report more information about the iX M60 soon, as the official unveiling is not long in coming.
