AC Schnitzer has traditionally taken the BMW M4 by the brush and given it a good dose of extra power. The M4 Cabrio has also been upgraded on various points by the German tuner.

BMW presented the M4 Cabrio just a year ago and skipped the power source of the base M4 Coupé. The M4 Cabrio came directly with the 510 hp and 650 Nm strong variant of the 3.0 biturbo six-in-line of the M4 Competition in its nose. Aided by the M xDrive four-wheel drive, the M4 Convertible accelerates from standstill to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and you can even reach 200 km/h in 13.1 seconds. Not enough, they think at AC Schnitzer in Aachen. There are undoubtedly people who agree with them.

AC Schnitzer has prepared a considerable power cure for the M4 Convertible, which will also be available for the M4 CoupĂ©. Two steps are possible. The first upgrade raises the power to 591 hp and 750 Nm, the second is even good for just 612 hp and 750 Nm. If you’re afraid that the M4 isn’t screaming enough yet, you no longer have to fear. A new stainless steel exhaust system is also available, with carbon tailpipes. AC Schnitzer also screws new springs and variable dampers under the M4, bringing the sporty Bimmer 15 to 20 mm closer to the asphalt. By the way, you can also have the M4 put on special new light metal from AC Schnitzer. Those are 20-inch copies that are available in matte black or silver.

More external extras come in the form of various black wings and splitters. The most striking are the black accents on the hood and the various rear spoilers that AC Schnitzer has for the M4. Depending on which one you choose, the downward pressure on the rear of the M4 can increase from 20 to 70 pounds. Always handy when you unleash 611 horsepower on the wheels. Finally, in the interior, the special AC Schnitzer shift paddles and the steering wheel with a combination of Alcantara and carbon fiber dressed up.
