The technical specifications of the brackets were studied, as well as the production process. Technical analysis of the brackets showed that they did not meet the requested specifications.
After the technical analysis and discussions with the supplier, it turned out that the brackets had not been produced according to specifications due to deviation in the heat treatment during the production process.
The recall affects all K 1600 GT models from September 21, 2018 to December 28, 2019, all K 1600 GTL models from December 4, 2018 to January 27, 2020, and K 1600 B models manufactured between September 21, 2018, and February 18, 2020.
