Create Bookmarks for sites you visit frequently in Chrome. Then you can open favorite websites in a few clicks.
Bookmarks in Chrome
Do you visit some websites daily or do you want to remember a certain site? Bookmark this in Chrome. Links to the sites are then grouped together in an overview. This gives you quick access to favorite web pages. In addition, you do not have to remember the address of the website.
Bookmark (PC)
Bookmark in Chrome on PC like this:
- Open the Google Chrome browser.
- Type a URL, for example ‘seniorweb.nl’, and press the Enter key.
- Click the asterisk icon in the top right corner of the address bar.
- After ‘Name’, type a description for the Bookmark. Often a text is already entered. If necessary, delete the text first with the Backspace key on the keyboard.
- Click on the down arrow next to ‘Folder’ and select the folder in which the Bookmark should be placed.
- click on Ready.
The asterisk icon is now blue and the Bookmark has been created.
Open bookmark (PC)
On the PC, the Bookmarks created in Chrome are below the address bar. Click on a Bookmark’s name to open it. Don’t see any Bookmarks? Then do the following:
- In Chrome, click the icon with the three dots at the top right
. - click on bookmarks.
- click on Show bookmarks bar.
- Click the Bookmark below the address bar to open the site.

How to Bookmark on an Android device in the app Chrome:
- Open the Chrome app.
- Go to the site you want to bookmark.
- Tap the icon with three dots in the top right.
- Tap the star icon at the top.

- Open the app Chrome.
- Tap the three dots icon at the top right.
- Tap on bookmarks > Mobile bookmarks.
- Tap the Bookmark to open the linked site.

How to Bookmark in the . on an iPhone or iPad app Chrome:
- Open the Chrome app.
- Go to the site you want to bookmark.
- Tap the square with an arrow at the top right of the search bar.
- Tap on Bookmark.
