Brabus has indulged in the Mercedes-AMG E63 S before, but is now going one step further. The result is a whopping 900 hp beast, which Brabus appropriately calls ‘a wolf in sheep’s clothing’.

The Mercedes-AMG E63 S is not lacking at all with its standard 612 hp 4.0-liter biturbo V8, but it appeared earlier that Brabus managed to draw much more power from that block. That Brabus 800 dubbed creation had, you guessed it, 800 horsepower to play with. Now Brabus goes one step further with the Brabus 900, which, as its name implies, produces no less than 900 hp. The V8 has been drilled up to a volume of 4.5 liters and there are two other turbos specially developed by Brabus.

Of course Brabus has just like before completely filled the ‘E’ with carbon fiber trim, although it must be said that it remains relatively modest for such a strong car. The ‘wolf in sheep’s clothing’ story must of course still be correct. You can bet that the Brabus 900 will cause surprised looks at a traffic light sprint. It goes from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds. The top speed is no less than 330 km/h. In comparison, the regular E 63 S needs 3.4 seconds for that sprint and with the optional AMG Driver’s Package it can reach a speed of 300 km/h.

Brabus has also equipped the 900 with a special exhaust system, where you open valves at the push of a button to let the V8 roar at full power. Those who prefer to keep things a little more civilized can also switch on a ‘Coming Home’ mode. Then the roar remains as modest as possible. Incidentally, you can lower the Brabus 900, which is on special jet black 21-inch light metal, thanks to a modified suspension system up to 20 mm to the ground. Not only to look ‘tougher’, because according to Brabus, this also makes driving sharper and sportier.
