Brand new Donkervoort F22 already sold out

Earlier this month, the Dutch Donkervoort launched the special F22, a brand new extreme two-seater with a Twin Targa roof. Although the basic shape is reminiscent of the other Donkervoort models, the F22 clearly looks a generation newer. The Donkervoort F22 traditionally gets its blood-curdling performance from a five-cylinder from Audi, which in this case is linked to a manual five-speed gearbox to keep the weight down.

Donkervoort spent no less than five years developing the F22. That turns out to be worth it. The company proudly announces that the model is already sold out. It must be said that the edition of 75 pieces was not very large, but it is still a great achievement that the F22, which costs at least €240,000, has already been sold out in such a short time. Does this end for the F22? No, according to Donkervoort, the F22 shows which way the brand is taking. So expect more models in this vein.
