It can never be long before Volkswagen itself pulls the curtain on the brand new Tiguan, but unfortunately for the Germans, the SUV brother of the Golf can already be admired in full regalia.
It is almost time for the unveiling of the brand new third generation of the Volkswagen Tiguan. People at Volkswagen are also quite eager, as it turned out when the Tiguan was shown to the world in a QR code-like sticker sheet more than two months ago. The interior could even be seen uncamouflaged. These new leaked images certainly do not cause too many surprises, but it is always special to be able to see a car so well before the unveiling.
We thank MQB-Coding & Retrofit for sharing these images on the internet. It is now clearer to see how Volkswagen has filled the space between the headlights and taillights. The new Tiguan is clearly of a slightly more recent design light than the Golf with which it shares its technical base, with its rear light units arranged in a single dark bar and a thick dark stripe between the headlights. With that, he crawls more towards the ID4 and ID7. The dashboard, shown earlier, is also of a newer style, with the large display projecting upwards from the center as the main one eye-catcher.

Volkswagen itself already released that the new Tiguan has a wheelbase of 2.68 meters, just like its predecessor, but grows in length by 3.2 cm (to 4.55 meters) and is also half a centimeter higher. With 648 liters of luggage space you have 33 liters more than in the outgoing Tiguan and the front and rear headroom has also grown by an inch. The electric range of the plug-in hybrid Tiguan has also grown. It can travel up to 100 km fully electrically. In addition, count on well-known TSI power sources. We also expect TDIs on the international engine list, but they will pass the Netherlands.
