Business drivers mainly choose an SUV

Every month the Business Drivers Association looks at the most interesting business cars in a certain price category. This month, these are the most registered business cars between € 20,000 and € 40,000 in the past six months. It is striking that in this price range many of the same type of business cars drive. We rank them for you on the number of business registrations.

From a European perspective, the percentages of station wagons are sold in the Netherlands. Compared to sedan models, a station wagon variant of the same model sells three to seven times more. Some models can no longer be imagined without a station wagon. Just think of the station wagon variant of the Ford Focus (2), but also the Skoda Octavia Combi (5) and the Toyota Corolla Touring Sports (6) take their share of the business market. With the yet to be unveiled new Golf Variant and the recently presented Skoda Octavia Combi, probably more business drivers will choose these cars in the future.

SUV most interesting for business driver

Of the Top 10 models that have been the most sold in the past six months, it is still the SUV that the business driver has chosen the most. The most chosen model is even an SUV. That’s the Kia Niro. His brother, the Hyundai Kona (4), is also in the Top 5. Still within the Top 10, the German models are the Volkswagen Tiguan (7), Skoda Kodiaq (8) and Volkswagen T-Roc (9).

Nissan Leaf is unique

The bottom line of the VZR Lease Top 10 is the Nissan Leaf (10). That is a striking model in this list, because it is only available as a 5-door hatchback. Despite its fully electric drive, so a Top-10 position, or is it precisely thanks to this addition-friendly drivetrain?
