Not only consumers are waiting with excitement, but also many entrepreneurs*: Will CBD soon be legalized throughout Germany? With its hemp and other plants, nature is a true economic miracle. Not only hemp, but grain and other essential products are grown on huge acreage around the world.

The dream, legal and buy cheap CBD weed, could also become a reality across the EU. The USA has been showing how it can work for years. Smoking weed is legal in 19 states, with more to come.

In Germany, too, the traffic light government is bringing the legalization of cannabis into play. But many opponents fear an increase in crime. Is this really true? A look at the USA gives hope. A study planned for 2017 shows that violent crime did not increase with the legalization of cannabis. The opposite happened: a 26% decrease in robberies. The rate of other violent crimes and murders also fell, by 11%.

Cannabis as medicine already successful

Consumers in Germany still have to wait for the legalization of cannabis. However, it is already approved for use in medicine. Since 2017, the consumption of medically prescribed cannabis has also been permitted in Germany. However, under strict conditions.

Cannabis consumption can be prescribed by specialists, for example to relieve pain caused by serious illnesses. It is sold in pharmacies on prescription. Cannabis has also been legalized as a medicinal use in other countries. In addition to Germany, these include Italy, Romania, Poland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Switzerland and Russia.

In some countries, authorities even go a step further and not only allow CBD for medical purposes. These include Spain or France as well as Slovakia, Serbia, Bulgaria or Turkey.

Why is the desire to consume CBD so great?

Years of CBD clearance in the US have shown that consumption is increasing significantly. It almost seems as if the citizens were just waiting for legalization. Countless myths surround the plants. It is considered a real all-rounder when it comes to well-being and physical health. Can this be backed up by studies?

The study situation on the CBD can be expanded. Nevertheless, individual studies show that CBD promotes relaxation and can even reduce the feeling of hunger. US researchers have localized the chemical switch for the feeling of hunger and satiety in the brain. The enzyme CPT1 was blocked in mice, which led to the satiety signal in the brain. While marijuana boosts enzyme activity and thus increases hunger pangs, CBD is said to do the exact opposite.

CBD as a dangerous agent from nature?

Studies have not proven that CBD has particularly positive effects. The same applies to unwanted side effects. Nevertheless, the application shows numerous effects, positive as well as negative. In contrast to other hemp products, CBD contains less THC or no THC at all, so that the intoxicating effect known from colloquial smoking weed is eliminated. Instead, CBD consumption usually has a calming and stress-reducing effect. However, some consumers also show the opposite. Incorrect doses of CBD can also lead to sleep disorders, for example.

Instead of CBD: These natural stress relievers still exist

Nowadays, many citizens suffer from stress symptoms. Triggered by work, exhausting private life or fears – stress has many facets. There is no such thing as a panacea for stress. However, some exercises and natural remedies can help reduce stress.

Natural fabrics from nature

CBD is considered a true miracle when it comes to stress reduction. Nevertheless, the preparation is not without controversy. Other plants also have a calming effect with the power of nature. These include valerian, lime blossom or chamomile. Prepared as a tea, they are ideal for relaxing before going to bed. St. John’s wort is an equally effective and natural weapon when it comes to fighting nervousness and stress. Caution is also required here with the administration and dosage. A particularly sensitive stomach can react with nausea when ingested.

Anti-stress tips for everyday life

In order to find inner peace and not give stress a chance, it does not always have to be (natural) preparations. Everyone can contribute to their own stress reduction with a few exercises in everyday life.

Yoga is a time-tested stress-relief technique that has been around for thousands of years. Yoga has its origins in India. The aim is to harmonize body and mind. Movement sequences and breathing techniques play an important role. Yoga is also great for allowing the body to rest and stretch after sitting for a long time (e.g. at a desk). Experts have known for a long time: to long and improper sitting makes sick. If you don’t stretch your body regularly and get enough exercise, sitting can cause back pain, diabetes and even high blood pressure.

Treat yourself to digital peace

Hardly anyone who is not surrounded by digital consumption during the course of the day: Internet, smartphone or tablet – the constant presence in the digital age puts additional stress on the body. Those who consciously treat themselves to a digital break relax their nerves.

Always being available when eating creates additional stress and promotes unhealthy eating habits. Instead of chewing food extensively, as recommended by experts, devours in stress mode. This puts additional demands on the body, because it has to laboriously digest the larger pieces of food. Better to put the phone away while eating and enjoy the meal in peace.

Get enough sleep, even in between

Stress is primarily promoted by insufficient sleep and vice versa. Restlessness before going to bed is caused in particular by the consumption of TV or Internet content. Experts recommend turning off the screen no later than an hour before bed. This not only relaxes the eyes, but also prepares the body for the upcoming rest phase.

The well-tried nap can also work wonders. Studies show that a power nap of just 20-30 minutes is enough to relax the body and strengthen the immune system.
