After recently getting acquainted with the pre-production model, importer BW Import has now announced that the new CFMoto 800 NK Sport is available immediately.
The new 800NK Sport is the new flagship of CFMoto’s NK line, after the 800MT the second model to be powered by the 799cc parallel twin developed in collaboration with KTM, christened the LC8c block by the Austrians and produced by CFMoto (just like the full LC8c line-up, which now consists of several Adventure and Duke models as well as the new SMT, but that aside).
For the full technical story, including a first impression on track and street, we refer you to the first test we recently published, but we’ve summarized the most important things for you here. Starting with the 799cc parallel twin, which in this 800NK has a top power of 95 hp and a maximum torque of 81 Nm, equipped with a slip-assist clutch and 3 driving modes.
The throttle is controlled via ride-by-wire, which has made it possible to use cruise control. The 800NK is also equipped with a 6-axis IMU, which has enabled the J.Juan radial caliper cornering ABS. Remarkably, the engine is not equipped with traction control, but in all honesty: do you really need that with 95 hp?
On the bike side, CFMoto has done business with KYB, with a 43mm upside down front fork and a link system monoshock in a double-sided swingarm. Both front and rear, the suspension is fully adjustable and there is 130mm of travel. The block is included in the frame as a load-bearing part, so that the weight of 186 kilos ready for use is not a bad value at all. The saddle is set to a standard height of 795 mm, but there is also an 820 mm variant.
Again, check out our extensive review for the full story. The CFMoto 800 NK is available in several colors, from € 8,999 in the Netherlands and € 8,249 in Belgium. That includes a 5-year CFMoto Extended Warranty Program Benelux warranty.
