CFMOTO Expands 450 Family: 450SRS, 450NK, 450CL-C and 450MT

One of the biggest surprises this year was the CFMOTO 450SR, which has raised the bar for the A2 Supersport. The Chinese have turned it into a serious platform for 2024, with an even sportier 450SR S, a 450NK, 450CL-C and 450MT.

CFMOTO Expands 450 Family: 450SRS, 450NK, 450CL-C and 450MT

This year the world was introduced to the 450SR. A 35kW A2 racer powered by a 450cc parallettwin that is equipped with a 270° crankshaft and therefore has a completely different – more dynamic – experience than its 180° competitors. This 450SR will be joined in early 2024 in the form of the 450SR S.

As befits a real “S”, CFMOTO has leveled up considerably with the SRS, by providing the bike with a beautiful single-sided swingarm as standard, an improved rear brake (from 220mm to 240mm and from one-piston to two-piston caliper) and also the aerodynamics. has been adjusted at the front. On the 450SR S, the exhaust gases escape from the underside of the motorcycle. TCS and a slipper clutch are standard equipment.

CFMOTO 450NK

The 800NK, designed by the Italian design agency Modena 40, has amazed friend and foe since the concept model was released. Its own face, its powerful 799cc parallel twin with 95 hp and 81 Nm is one big sensation! It was not surprising that the 800 would have a “smaller” brother after the arrival of the 450SR. The fact that people in Rimini at Modena 40 did not simply remove the fairing from the SR and install a headlight is clearly visible when we look at the 450NK. The 35kW Naked is just as good as its big brother in terms of looks and thanks to the 450cc engine block with 270° crankshaft, acceleration, torque and sound are the best ingredients for an impressive driving experience.

CFMOTO 450CL-C

Cool Life Cruising. These three words actually say more than enough about the all-new CFMOTO 450CL-C. This new model is also equipped with the 450cc parallel twin, but here CFMOTO has not emphasized high revs but rather torque at lower revs. While the above 450 models deliver a maximum torque of 39Nm at 7,600 rpm, the CL-C already reaches its maximum torque of 42Nm at 6,250 rpm. The 270° crankshaft principle and beautiful exhaust system again provide the ultimate cruiser feeling. This is also partly due to its seat height of 690mm, which makes you immediately feel comfortable on the 181kg cruiser. The 450CL-C will be available in February/March 2024.

CFMOTO 450MT

The latest 450cc news but certainly not the least is the all-new 450MT. Not a little brother of the 800MT but a completely new all-road model. Designed by international design agency Kiska, which has been responsible not only for KTM, but for more than 300 brands worldwide for more than 30 years. They have managed to build a motorcycle around the 450cc parallel twin engine block (32.5kW / 8,500 rpm & 44Nm / 6,250 rpm) that can be used anywhere.

From daily commuting to long-distance rides and everything in between, this 175-kilogram 450MT should feel at home there, according to the Chinese. With its adjustable seat height (820 standard & 800 adjustable), its 17.5 liter fuel tank and the 220mm ground clearance, you can not only go far without refueling, but also safely and over any obstacle. The new 450MT is available from February/March.
