It looks like Apple will update the AirPods line later this year with several new models, including cheap AirPods Lite. You need to know this.
AirPods Lite will be released this year
The arrival of cheap AirPods Lite was confirmed by an analyst last Monday Jeff Pu, who said that Apple will release these AirPods sometime in the second half of 2024. He also confirmed that new AirPods Max will be coming later this year.
Pu explains that thanks to the launch of cheap AirPods Lite, production of AirPods will increase later this year. According to him, a subsidiary of Foxconn will be one of the suppliers of the cheaper AirPods and Foxconn will ramp up assembly of AirPods at a factory in India in the fourth quarter of this year.

Unfortunately, Pu does not provide specific details about what we can expect from these cheap AirPods Lite. Apple analyst Ming Chi Kuo has also reported that Apple is working on a low-cost version of the AirPods that will hit the market in 2024. He suggests that these AirPods will only cost $99.
Mark Gurman from Bloomberg has also said this several times reported that Apple plans to introduce AirPods 4 this year with two different models. Those models will probably have a new design and a USB-C charger. Features such as ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) will probably only be supported by a variant in the higher segment.
Unfortunately, it is still unclear whether Pu and Kuo refer to the same cheap AirPods Lite as Gurman, or to a completely different product. The only thing that seems certain at the moment is that the AirPods Lite will become cheaper. So we will have to be patient for more details.
