Do you want to know how much memory is available on your USB stick? That is easy to look up on a PC with Windows.
USB stick properties
In the properties of the USB stick you can see how much storage space is occupied and still free.
- Plug the USB stick into a free USB port on the computer.
- Click the icon

from File Explorer in the Taskbar. - In the left row is the name of your stick, often this is ‘Removable Disk’ or ‘New Volume’. If you have given the stick a name, this name will be displayed.
- Right click on Removable disk, New Volume or the name of your stick.
- click on Characteristics.
The window shows an overview of the memory space. A pie chart shows how much space has been taken up and how much space is still available.
