Citroën presents the renewed C5 Aircross. The SUV has a new nose, a more refined interior and is available with new personalization packs.

The Citroën C5 Aircross has been renewed. The new design language, with which the SUV should be clearer and more impressive, is mainly visible at the front. There the curves have given way to tighter lines and a vertical design. An example is the large, central air inlet. The C5 Aircross has a 3D brand logo that is now separate from the daytime running lights.

The sides of the SUV are unmodified, but can be adjusted more extensively. For example, there are new 18-inch light-alloy wheels in Pulsar design. Four new Airbump Color Packs accentuate the car with the colors of the front inserts. At the back, Citroën has rearranged the light units. This makes the 3D effect more pronounced. The new body color Eclipse Blue looks, depending on the ambient light, then again as dark blue, then as black.

Novelties in the cabin include a 12.3-inch information display in the field of view and a 10-inch touchscreen for multimedia. The ergonomics and readability of the last screen has been improved. You can also operate the climate control with it. The new C5 Aircross offers twenty assistance systems. One of these is Highway Driver Assist, which enables level 2 autonomous driving.

In addition, Citroën has mainly tried to refine the interior of ‘the comfortable SUV’ with the help of new materials. The Advanced Comfort seats have a stronger foam layer for long-term use, are upholstered in the new soft-touch Alcantara fabric (optionally with perforated leather) and are optionally available with heating and massage function. Finally, Citroën has paid attention to the ergonomics of the automatic transmission’s new e-Toggle switch and the drive mode button.
