AutoWeek can tell you exclusively what the new versions of the electric Citroën ë-C4 and ë-C4 X with a new and above all more efficient powertrain will cost in the Netherlands. The new Shine versions may provide Citroën with quite a bit of business. Both the Citroën ë-C4 Shine and ë-C4 X Shine are eligible for SEPP purchase subsidy.

Like several other EVs from Stellantis, the electric Citroën ë-C4 and ë-C4 X also received a new electric powertrain. However, that new powertrain is reserved for the Shine versions. The lower positioned Feel and Feel Pack versions simply retain the well-known 136 hp powertrain with 50 kWh battery. AutoWeek has the prices of the Citroën ë-C4 Shine and ë-C4 X Shine. The Shine versions of the ë-C4s have a 156 hp electric motor and a 54 kWh battery pack. This more powerful but above all more efficient powertrain gives the ë-C4 and ë-C4 X an electric range of up to 420 kilometers. The other versions come up to 360 kilometers away. So a significant difference.

The Citroën ë-C4 Shine, with a new powertrain, will soon be on the price list in the Netherlands from €45,090. This makes it only €1,000 more expensive than the Shine version with a 136 hp electric motor. Good news: just like the less expensive ë-C4s with the 136 hp electric motor and 50 kWh battery, the Citroën ë-C4 Shine is eligible for a SEPP purchase subsidy. Its fiscal price (list value) is €44,100, which is below €45,000.

For the Citroën ë-C4 X Shine with the new 156 hp electric motor and 54 kWh battery, you will soon have to pay €45,940 in the Netherlands. This makes it €1,100 more expensive than the Shine version of the ë-C4 X with the less potent powertrain. The Citroën ë-C4 X Shine with new powertrain is also eligible for a SEPP purchase subsidy. The fiscal value is €44,950 and therefore remains just below the limit of 45 grand. More news for the ë-C4 X – albeit of a smaller nature – relates to the Feel Pack trim. The starting price of that middle version with 136 hp powerful electro heart and 50 kWh battery drops by €100 to €41,650.
