Rewind to the end of 2021. Citroën then showed a roughly dressed Ami: the My Ami Buggy Concept. It was not just a fun finger exercise, as Citroën announced in mid-2022 that a production version would be available. It came, but only in an extremely limited edition of 50 pieces. Those 50 Citroëns My Ami Buggy were already taken within eighteen minutes of opening the order books. Much more! Instead of a new series of 50 copies, Citroën will soon produce 1,000 units of the My Ami Buggy. Twenty times as much as before. Citroën will open the order books for the My Ami Buggy in the first quarter of 2023, with the first copies expected to be delivered at the end of the summer.
