Cooler Master redesigns thermal paste tubes due to drug suspicions

Cooler Master has adjusted the appearance of its thermal paste sprayers because the company says it is tired of having to constantly explain to parents that the content is not drugs, but thermal paste.

Apparently, it is more common than expected that parents who spray the coolant paste of their PC-building children for drug spraying. Cooler Master is tired of having to explain to parents that it is about thermal paste and not about drugs and has therefore decided to change the appearance of the thermal paste spray.

The new sprayers have a brush-like appearance and a wide spray head. This allows the paste to be spread widely over the CPU. Regardless of whether this is a joke from Cooler Master, or whether this is a legitimate reason, several PC builders have spoken negatively about the new syringes.

The best way to apply thermal paste to your processor is to place a dot the size of a pea in the middle, and then press the cooler on it. It is not the intention to lubricate the pasta over the entire CPU, although that is still a point of discussion. What is clear is that applying too much pasta can have the opposite effect and can even have an insulating effect. At least enough is being discussed about the new sprayers.

We didn’t change the shape of the syringe to make applying thermal paste a lot easier, but because we we’re getting tired of having to explain parents that their kid isn’t using drugs.
