Create a text arc
Creating a card in Word with the text ‘congratulations’ is quickly done. Find a picture, add a nice text and you’re done. A design becomes even more fun with WordArt. Gives words a special effect. For example, let the text run in a circle or in a nice arc. With such a text arc, the text runs along an imaginary circle.
Type text in an arc
- Open a document in Word.
- Click on the tab Insert.
- click on Text > WordArt or WordArt and choose the style you want.
- Type the desired text in the box.
- Click here Text Effects .
- click on transform.
- Click on the desired shape under the heading ‘Follow path’. We want to make a bow, so click Archery bow.
- The effect is immediately visible. Click next to the frame to finalize the edit.
Curve existing text
You can also convert an existing text into an arc:
- Select a piece of text in a Word document.
- Click on the tab Insert.
- click on Text > WordArt or WordArt and choose the style you want.
- Click here Text Effects .
- click on transform.
- click on Archery bow.
- Click next to the frame to finalize the edit.
