With the Dacia Jogger, the Romanians hope to bring many families from A to B again for a reasonable price. Now we know exactly how reasonable that price is.
The Dacia Jogger remains just below the €20,000 limit with its starting price. You can drive it for at least €19,150. In that case you have the Jogger with the 100 hp TCe 100 Bi-Fuel in the nose, a 1.0 four-cylinder engine that can run on LPG as well as petrol. If you want to drive this as a seven-seater, you have to add €1,000. Do you prefer a slightly more powerful engine that only likes petrol? Then you can opt for the 110 hp TCe 110. It should bring in at least €19,650, or €20,650 for the seven-seater version. In all cases, shifting is done with a six-speed manual transmission. At a later date, Dacia will also add a hybrid Jogger to the range with the technology of the Renault Clio E-Tech.
Dacia distinguishes three different trim levels with the Jogger, namely: Essential, Comfort and Extreme Limited Edition. In the standard version, Essential, the Jogger does not have air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, power door mirrors and 8-inch infotainment screen. That only comes into play with the Comfort, which costs €1,900 more. You also get the Jogger on 16-inch steel ‘design wheels’ instead of the standard steel wheels, it has modular roof racks, door handles painted in body color, the driver’s seat is adjustable in height and the steering wheel is covered with leather. The €1,000 more expensive Extreme adds to the Comfort features such as automatic air conditioning, 16-inch alloy wheels, a two-tone dashboard, mirror caps in high-gloss black and a smartphone holder.
The Jogger comes standard with safety features such as Active Emergency Braking, front and rear curtain airbags and airbags for the driver and front passenger. With Comfort you get parking sensors behind it and with the Extreme also a reversing camera. If you want more, you have to rely on three packages. For example, there is an extension for the Comfort with the €495 ‘Pack Assist’ with driver assistance systems such as a blind spot sensor, front and rear parking sensors and a reversing camera. There is also the equally expensive ‘Pack Easy’, which, among other things, adds an electronic handbrake, a key card and a height-adjustable passenger seat to the Comfort equipment. Finally, you have the Extreme Pack intended for the Extreme, which allows you to expand the Extreme equipment with the electronic handbrake, medium-high center console, blind spot sensor, front and rear parking sensors and a height-adjustable passenger seat. That package costs €595.
You can order the Dacia Jogger immediately and the Jogger will be available at the Dutch dealers from the end of March 2022.
