Deep brain stimulation is a crucial procedure for treating Parkinson’s disease. Researchers have now been able to identify the optimal target network in the human brain. In this way, therapies could be adapted more specifically in the future, especially for patients who have so far only benefited inadequately from deep brain stimulation.
