If you’ve been spending years on Twitter, you’ve probably already posted thousands of tweets. But what have you ever actually put online that you may no longer agree with? Twitter itself doesn’t offer an easy way to browse and throw away your oldest tweets. That is why the German developer Tobias Block built an app for this himself.
Keep or Delete is an app for which you pay 0.99 euros once in the App Store. The app shows your tweets one by one as a stack of cards where you always take one. The app loads a tweet and you swipe left to discard it and right to save. It’s a fun way to scroll through your old tweets and get things cleaned up right away.
Not immediately gone
The app has built in a number of useful functions for users. This way you can enable a deletion delay. It then takes a while before the tweets you have indicated are really deleted. In the meantime, if you regret it or if you swipe too quickly, they can still be saved.
Old tweets are sometimes an obstruction
Mashable Know that Keep or Delete was created when a friend of Tobias Block lost a job over an old embarrassing tweet. Such tweets sometimes pop up via Google. Since there was no real solution, Block made it himself. Incidentally, such an app for Facebook would not work. That network does not allow third-party apps to delete messages, photos and videos.
