iPhone 14 Delivery Shortages: Kuo Says No
According to a rumor from the website Digitimes Apple will order 10 percent fewer iPhone 14 models in the coming months than planned. This is apparently due to problems at chip supplier TSMC. According to DigiTimes, the company is struggling with a supply shortage of semiconductors for the iPhone 14.
In a thread on Twitter, reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo now gives his opinion. He explains, among other things, that Apple always makes small adjustments to the amount of orders. This also happens quite often with new iPhone models before they start mass production. If Apple anticipates problems with parts deliveries, the company will delay orders – not reduce them first.

Especially with the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, something will change. Both devices get a new design with two small holes in the screen for the selfie camera and Face ID sensors. In addition, the resolution of the main camera is increased to 48 megapixels.
The standard iPhone 14 and the new iPhone 14 Max get fewer upgrades. Both devices get the current design and the old A15 chip from the iPhone 13. They are equipped with a better selfie camera with autofocus. The battery life will probably also improve a bit.
